Oggi il pensiero non può che andare al Giappone e alla tremenda catastrofe che lo sta attraversando, con una profonda angoscia soprattutto per le fantastiche persone che abbiamo conosciuto.

Abbiamo subito scritto alle nostre mitiche guide per sapere se fosse tutto ok, dicendoci molto preoccupati per loro e per la situazione in generale.

Qualche guida ci ha già risposto, dicendo di stare bene e di non essere in una situazione di pericolo.

Per questo motivo, anche per sdrammatizzare un po' la situazione, ho deciso di girarvi il testo di una mail di risposta, che conferma il loro approccio alla vita completamente diverso dal nostro.

Qui di seguito la mail:

Hi diego. Long time no see!!

How are you?

Do you remember that you gave me a tie?

I wore it when graduation thesis publication.

Then a friend of mine said,'You have good tie.'

I said 'Thank you, Italian gave this tie to me.'

My friends was very surprised and I thought having foreign friend is very good thing.

And do you remember that you gave me a coffee machine?

My father liked the coffee machine very much, and he bought the same one for his friend.

Sorry, I will talk about earthquake...

The center of the earthquake is not in Tokyo, so Tokyo is not the most seriously damaged place.

But in my room, many books and papers were on the floor.

The earthquake continued about 1 minute.

This is the longest one I've ever experienced.

Anyway, I'm OK!!
